Swirl Marks Evaluation Instructions

Follow these steps to assess the severity of swirl marks, then select the service needed below:

A

View the paint under direct sunlight or a bright light. If swirl marks are faint and only visible at certain angles, they’re light swirl marks. Select Single Stage for correction.

B

If swirl marks are deep, highly visible, or accompanied by scratches, they’re severe swirl marks. Select Multi Stage for thorough correction, or additional charges may apply for deeper treatment.

After evaluating swirl marks, choose a service below (e.g., Single Stage for light swirl marks, Multi Stage for severe cases).

Oxidation Evaluation Instructions

Follow these steps to assess the severity of paint oxidation, then select the service needed below:

A

Inspect the paint in bright light. If it appears dull, chalky, or faded but smooth to the touch, it’s minor oxidation. Select Single Stage for restoration.

B

Rub the paint gently with a clean cloth. If white residue appears or the surface feels rough, it’s severe oxidation. Select Multi Stage for deeper correction, or additional charges may apply for advanced treatment.

After evaluating oxidation, choose a service below (e.g., Single Stage for minor oxidation, Multi Stage for severe cases).

Scratch Test Instructions

Please follow these steps to determine if you have a deep or minor scratch, and then select the service needed in the next step:

A

Pour water on the scratch and let it run. If the scratch disappears temporarily but returns, it’s a clear coat scratch. If it remains visible, it’s a deep scratch, and we might not be able to fix it. Or we might need to do some wet sanding and paint touchup and additional charges might apply.

B

Run your fingernail along the scratch. If you feel resistance, it’s a deep scratch, and we might not be able to fix it, or we might need to do some wet sanding and paint touchup and additional charges might apply.

After determining the scratch type, choose a service below (e.g., Single Stage for clear coat scratches, Multi Stage for deeper scratches).
