Job Overview:
As a Full Time Mobile Mechanic at D&V, you will provide expert on-site vehicle repair and diagnostic services, traveling to client locations to deliver specialized automotive solutions with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pre-Purchase Inspection: Conduct thorough vehicle assessments to help clients make informed buying decisions.
• Vehicle Diagnostics: Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
• Brake Repair: Inspect, replace, or repair brake components to ensure safety and performance.
• Starter Replacement: Diagnose and replace faulty starters as required.
• Alternator Replacement: Replace or repair alternators to restore vehicle electrical systems.
• Serpentine Belt Replacement: Inspect and replace worn-out serpentine belts for smooth engine operation.
• Maintain tools and ensure a clean, professional workspace.
• Communicate with clients to explain repairs and address their concerns.

Compensation:
This is a full-time hourly position at $25 -30 per hour (Depending on Experience).

Note: Basic tools and diagnostic equipment will be provided if required. Training on specific procedures can be arranged as needed.

Paint Correction Expert

Job Overview:
As a part-time Paint Correction Expert at D&V, you will specialize in the Cut & Polish process, delivering high-quality paint correction services at our clients’ locations to restore vehicle finishes and ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform the Cut & Polish process (3-step paint correction) with precision to achieve a flawless finish.
• Fix Minor Scratches: Repair clear coat imperfections while preserving paint integrity.
• Remove Swirl Marks: Eliminate surface-level defects to restore shine.
• Remove Oxidation: Rejuvenate faded or discolored areas for a vibrant appearance.
• Assess vehicle surfaces to determine the best correction approach.
• Maintain tools and ensure a clean, professional workspace.
• Communicate with clients to explain processes and meet their expectations.

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Deep Scratch Removal: Sanding and paint touch-up for deeper scratches.
• Ceramic Coating: Applying coatings for enhanced protection and shine.
• RV Paint Restoration: Waxing and polishing large vehicles to remove oxidation.
• Fiberglass Polishing: Waxing and polishing fiberglass surfaces, like boats, for restoration.

Compensation:
Technicians are paid on a commission-only basis, earning a percentage of each job’s value. Earnings depend on job complexity, vehicle size, and your ability to tackle tasks. Hard-working experts typically earn between $3,500 to $4,000 a month plus tips. Refer to our pricing page to do the math for yourself.

Who We’re Looking For:

• Experience with paint correction and automotive detailing.
• Knowledge of clear coat layers and vehicle paint types.
• Proficiency with buffers, polishers, and detailing tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Valid BC Driver’s License (preferred) and ability to drive in British Columbia (mandatory).
• Fluent in English (mandatory).
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
